November 2020 Reading Wrap-up

Hello friends! Happy (belated) December wishes! While I may be over two weeks late to sharing my November wrap-up, I still thought it would be fun to. Last month was nothing like I had anticipated at all, but I’m glad to have survived it.

For reference, in November I had my school finals, quit my job, and only managed to read two books. So, again, not really the month I had been expecting. On the bright side of things I also got to enjoy new Taylor Swift merch arriving in the mail, many cuddles with my cat, and new experiments in the kitchen (such as crab rangoons, waffles, and lasagna). I also began my new festive bookstagram theme! This combination of red, cozy, buffalo print, and hot chocolate is nothing like I’ve done before… but I am incredibly proud of it! You can find that on my bookstagram here!

Now onto the books! My reading in November was not what I wanted, but it is what I got. I managed to read two books:

Together, Apart Anthology

I’ve been looking forward to this short story collection for a while, and I loved it! The stories are all short quarantine meet-cutes and romances that made me smile, laugh, and swoon. It has a diverse cast of characters ranging in ages, sexualities, and ethnicities. I enjoyed seeing the different ideas the authors used to create adorable romances that made this pandemic seem a little less lonely.

In November I participated in the Teen Killers Club blog tour! I finished up my reading a few days before my review went live, and I enjoyed this one! The concept of it is unique and unlike any YA book that I have read before. I enjoyed the atmospheric setting, mystery aspect, and the found family trope that made me smile!

And just like that, It’s already two weeks into December! I may be late with this post, but I still wanted to share.

What books did you read in November? Have you read any of the ones I mentioned here? Leave a comment and talk about books with me!
